I've been a commercial realtor for over 25 years in the Ottawa area. My very first transaction in 1988 was a six million dollar offer to purchase multiple properties as a land assembly for a developer. Given that my family's business was road construction, the operation of quarries, asphalt plants and the installation of infrastructures in new sub-divisions, I was knowledgeable about the process and the economics of turning raw land into subdivisions. This being my expertise, it became a large part of my commercial business. The service I provide to my clients includes land purchase, assembling teams consisting of planners, architects and other professionals as well as assisting in securing financing. Recommendations are provided for layout, pricing and marketing strategies for the sale of industrial and residential projects. Examples of such projects include warehouses and offices like The Hunt Club Business Park (Auriga Dr. & Deakin St) and The Albion North Business Park. I presently have several land parcels in the urban area that are conditionally sold to major developers and regularly assist the municipality in the acquisition of land for their transportation needs. In addition to the above, my commercial portfolio includes the sale of businesses, retail plazas, multi-family investment properties, agricultural land, and commercial leases.
